Terms of Service for Slim Alarm

1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Slim Alarm (the "App"), operated by us ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Slim Alarm mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using Slim Alarm, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not download, access, or use the App.

2. General Disclaimer & Alarm Functionality

Slim Alarm is provided as an everyday alarm and time-management utility tool.

• No Critical/Emergency Use: The App is intended for general scheduling and alarm purposes only. It should not be relied upon as a primary notification system for critical, high-risk, or emergency situations (e.g., life-saving medication reminders, safety-critical alerts).
• Device Restrictions: Proper operation of the alarm depends on your device's settings, operating system performance, power management settings (e.g., battery saver modes), and physical condition. We are not liable for missed alarms caused by device limitations, system updates, software conflicts, or power loss.

3. Registration and Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are between 13 and the legal age of majority, you must review these Terms with your parent or guardian to ensure they understand and agree.
• Account Integrity: If an account creation feature is used, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Free Trials

A. Subscription Services

Certain features of Slim Alarm may be offered on a paid subscription basis ("Premium Features").

B. Auto-Renewal & Billing

• Payment Processing: All purchases and billing transactions are processed directly by the respective application store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (e.g., monthly or annually) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Any price changes will take effect following notice to you, in accordance with the applicable App Store policies.

C. Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the free trial period ends via your App Store / Google Play account settings.

D. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your device's App Store or Google Play account management page:
• iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Slim Alarm.
• Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Slim Alarm.
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Usage Rules & Restrictions

You agree to use the App solely for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
• Copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Disable, circumvent, or interfere with any security-related or digital rights management features of the App.
• Use the App to transmit any malicious code, viruses, or spam.
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (including all text, graphics, interfaces, audio, code, and trademarks) are owned by or licensed to us. Except for the limited non-exclusive license granted to you for personal use, no rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREED FROM SYSTEM FAILURES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE APP IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR 500 HKD, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms or via in-app notices. Your continued use of Slim Alarm after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
